Eastbourne Prayer Centre invite your prayers for:

Eastbourne Friday Focus 27th August 2010

Luke 19:10
‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.’

Give thanks for the Beachy Head Chaplaincy and the vision to rescue
those in the pit of despair and depression and looking for a way out.
Give thanks for every chaplain, every prayer supporter, every care
worker, and every financial supporter of the work.

Pray this scripture for the whole team.
Colossians 1:9-12
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped
praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his
will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in
order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in
every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of
God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might
so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving
thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance
of the saints in the kingdom of light.

Pray and declare aloud the Lord’s blessing on all those involved with
this precious work.
Numbers 6:24-27. The LORD BLESS you and keep you. The LORD cause His
face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The LORD lift up the
light of His countenance upon you and give you His peace. And we put the
name of Jesus Christ upon you and He will bless you.

The Beachy Head Chaplaincy reported four deaths in the month of June.
Pray for the family and friends of these people.
Ask God to reveal His love to them in Jesus Christ.
Pray for the healing and the cleansing of the land.
Ask God to teach us how to pray for Beachy Head.
Pray for more chaplains to come forward that the load can be shared.
Ask God to touch hearts with His compassion.
Pray the Lord’s healing for the two people having aftercare.

Declare over Beachy Head:
Father, let Your kingdom come; let Your will be done on earth as it is
in heaven.
